Customer Reviews
Absolutely love my new bed!
Oh my goodness, I just received my new 'Tregenna' Luxury Mattress and it's incredible! It feels so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. I was a bit worried about buying a mattress online, but it totally exceeded my expectations. I'm going to get the matching bed frame next. You have to try these, they are amazing!
Nice bed, easy setup
Got one of their iron headboards, the 'Falmouth' design. It looks really good in my guest room. It took about 3 weeks to arrive from when I ordered it, which was fine. Putting it together was super easy, just a few bolts and it was done. It feels solid, not flimsy at all. Happy with how it turned out.
Excellent quality, good communication
I ordered a King Size Metal Bed, the 'Boscawen' model, in cream. The ordering process online was straightforward, though it took a moment to navigate all the customization options for finials and base. After placing the order, I received a confirmation email and then updates on the manufacturing progress, which was helpful since these are handmade. Delivery to my home in California took about 4 weeks after shipping from the UK, which was within their estimated timeframe. The bed arrived very well-packaged, and assembly was surprisingly easy for such a substantial piece. All the parts were present and clearly labeled. The quality of the cast iron and the finish is really impressive; it feels incredibly sturdy, and there's no creaking whatsoever. Customer support was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status. Overall, a top-notch product and a good experience.
Worth the investment
I was looking for a really good deal on a new bed frame and was happy to see they had a showroom clearance sale on their site. I picked up an ex-display Double Cast Iron Bed at a pretty decent discount, around 25% off the full price. It was still more than I usually spend, but for a handmade item, it felt like good value. Shipping wasn't free for the ex-display, but the savings still made it worth it. It arrived in about two weeks. The bed is really well made, and I expect it to last a long time, so it felt like a smart purchase for the money.
Good bed frame
Ordered a 'St Michael's Mount' High Foot End Bed. Delivery took a while, about 6 weeks. Bed is solid and looks great. Assembly was fine. No issues with the product itself.
Consistent quality, reliable service
This was my third purchase from Cornish Beds; I'd previously bought a four-poster and a daybed. This time, I got a 'Penzance' Single Metal Bed for my study. Just like my earlier orders, the quality of the casting and the finish is excellent. The lead time was as expected, roughly 5 weeks from order to delivery. Everything was packaged securely, and all components were there. It's reassuring to know their standards haven't dropped. Their customer service is always helpful if I have a question. I keep coming back because I trust their product and service.

I saw something about customizing the color. Is that a real thing, like can I pick any RAL code or is it just a few set options?
How do these compare to, say, Iron Bed Company or Feather & Black? Is the quality noticeably better to justify the price difference?
Anyone tried returning something? Just in case it doesn't work out, wondering what their process is like.
Anyone know if these beds are truly solid cast iron or if it's just, you know, hollow tubing made to look that way? Some places are sneaky with that stuff.
Do they ever have sales? I'm eyeing a king size but the price tag is a bit oof. Wondering if it's worth waiting for a holiday sale or something.
